Fusion Safety is expanding our network of Technical Safety Specialists and Trainers. This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to work on a PT basis. The subjects we provide training for include HAZWOPER, Confined Space Entry & Rescue, OSHA 10 & 30 Hour (Construction and General Industry), Fall Protection, Rigging, DOT and more.
To be considered, you must have experience in some of the respective subject matter. You will be asked to provide a brief (15 minute) training as a part of the interview process if you would like to be considered for a Trainer position.
Services are provided across the country, but the majority of our work occurs Monday through Friday, and many courses have a duration of one to three days.
Confined Space Rescue Technicians are individuals who are qualified by training and experience in high and low angle PRCS. Our CSRT's work within groups to identify and mitigate hazards through workspace hazard analysis and rescue planning. The majority of our current CSRT members are current firefighters and EMT's who work on our teams on a PT basis, and around their station work schedules.
CSRT members must be trained under OSHA and NFPA standards for high and low angle confined space rescue. You must also be physically fit to wear respiratory protection, climb ladders, maneuver through small spaces, operate winches, stand for long periods of time, operate rope systems, and other duties as required by a given rescue plan.
Experience or the desire to gain experience with OSHA 1910 and 1926 regulations that pertain to jobsite safety is a plus. Our customer relationships provide an opportunity to cross train into positions in overall Safety Management.
